Industries Corp Bhd (BHIC) has clinched a RM32.4 million contract from
the Defence Ministry to service Royal Malaysian Navy helicopters.
In a statement to the exchange today, BHIC said its subsidiary BHIC AeroServices Sdn Bhd had received the award letter from the ministry last Tuesday (29 January).
“A formal contract between the Government of Malaysia and BHIC AeroService will be signed at a later date,” BHIC said.
The in service-support contract, which will see BHIC servicing six helicopters, is for a three-year period
from the date of the acceptance of the award, according to BHIC.
