Unidentified assailants on Saturday opened fire against a military
convoy in Russia’s North Caucasus Republic of Ingushetia, killing at
least two servicemen, a spokesman for the regional investigative
committee said.
“At about 12.15 am Moscow time, unidentified people shot from a grenade launcher at a military convoy near the village of Dattykh. According to preliminary data, two servicemen were killed and three more were injured,” spokesman Zurab Geroyev said.
