The "Neu-Neu" is back. The Normandy-Niemen will officially reactivated on June 25 in Mont-de-Marsan.Since April, the famous regiment, which fought on the Russian front during the second World War, even a dedicated website .
"The Neu-Neu" will be the 3rd Squadron of the Air Force to be equipped with Rafale , with the 1/7 Provence and 1/91 Gascogne.
Note for the Bretons a conference of "Thursdays Costarmoricains Defence" organized by the Academic Trinôme 22 (Education, Defence and IHEDN) to be held June 28, 2012, at the town hall of Dinan, with the theme: "The Epic of Normandy-Niemen 1942-1945."
The conference will be made up by Alain Fages, as part of the 70th anniversary of the famous "fighter regiment." For information, it would be only 4 pilots and 10 mechanics survivors to date.
