Australia pillar of the U.S. strategy in Asia


Australia is a key pillar of the U.S. strategy in Asia and the revaluation of their military strategy in this part of the world, said Friday the head of the U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM) told reporters.

During a teleconference from Hawaii, Admiral Samuel Locklear said that Australia was a vital ally of the United States in the world that is emerging.
