On 21 February 2013, the Minister of Defence of Slovenia, Mr Aleš Hojs, and the Minister of Defence of Luxembourg, Mr. Jean-Marie Halsdorf, visited the EDA for discussions with the Chief Executive Claude-France Arnould.
In Their respective meetings, the Ministers and the Chief Executive Exchanged views on defense issues in preparation for the meeting of the European Council in December 2013. They aussi Explored Opportunities to Support Requirements national capability through European cooperation, Including in research & technology and in the development of the European defense technological and industrial base, in Particular Support through to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
