Insitu Awarded Special Forces Contract for Unmanned Aircraft Systems

Insitu Inc.. Announced today que la U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) HAS Awarded the company has Mid-Endurance Unmanned Aircraft Systems (MEUAS) Intelligence Gathering, Target Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Services Contract for 26 months through Feb. 28, 2015.

"Insitu is Honored to continue ISR Providing services to the warfighter," Said Insitu ScanEagle Senior Vice President of Programs Curt Chesnutt. "For the past three and a half years we Have Provided SOCOM agile and responsive and uninterrupted services with our system and we ScanEagle look forward to Continuing our valued relationship."

Under the contract, will Insitu Introduce several technologies That Will Significantly Increase the capability of the warfigher.


Insitu's ScanEagle runway-independent is a unmanned aircraft system (UAS) with a small-operational footprint Special Operations Forces That allows to capture superior image quality.
