Cyber-spying: China is interested she EADS?

The aircraft manufacturer and defense suffered several cyber attacks in 2012 after the German magazine Der Spiegel. It accuses China of having an interest in EADS as part of its economic intelligence actions. China denies implemented such a strategy of espionage.

After the American press , after Microsoft andApple is the turn of EADS being targeted by hackers.According to the German magazine Der Spiegel, the group of European Aeronautic Defence and was the victim of a series of cyber attacks in 2012 from China. A spokesman for EADS confirmed in an interview with news agency Reuters, have been abused cybernetics. But he downplayed the severity of these attacks, calling them "attacks standard." The computer system of German steelmaker ThyssenKrupp has also been hacked.

According to the German magazine, these attacks were carried from China. It is true that for several weeks, the Middle Kingdom is accused of practicing cyber-espionage on a large scale. According to the report of the private Mandiant , the Chinese government has implemented a strategy for hacking business intelligence including through a specific military structure. It has to its credit the harvest hundreds of terabytes of data from 141 large companies considered strategic. In other words, the value of these data is potentially tens of billions of dollars of investment in R & D.

China has always denied such accusations. Chinese Minister of Defense noted that "the Chinese army had never supported any kind of hacking activities."
