Russia could face by 2030 an increasing number of existing and potential military threats, said Thursday the head of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.
"For the period up to 2030, the level of existing and potential threats weighing on Russia could increase considerably," he said at a press conference in Moscow.
According to the chief of the General Staff, the military alert level will be defined by the world powers
struggle for energy resources, markets and living space.
