Rolls Royce Awarded USAF C-130J Sustainment Contract

Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, has-been Awarded a $ 97.3 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to Support icts C-130J fleet transportation in 2013.

The contract covers MissionCare ™ sustainment services for the Rolls-Royce AE 2100 engines as well as the nacelles and propellers on the U.S. Air Force C-130J fleet. The work includes logistics and program management support, engineering services, spares and technical data support.

Through MissionCare, Rolls-Royce offers a suite of services tailored to customer's needs each Stock military. The U.S. Air Force contract is in the sixth year option, Providing a variety of media for the fleet of C-130J aircraft. Rolls-Royce puts HAS availability metrics every year, while helping meet the USAF Combat deployments overseas icts. Through proactive fleet management, Rolls-Royce HAS maintained Greater than 90 percent share and fleet availability.
