Nuclear Iran increases its fleet of centrifuges

The day of the visit of a delegation of the IAEA in Iran, Tehran said he started a month ago to install a new generation of centrifuges in its Natanz nuclear site, announced Wednesday Reuters quoting the director of the Agency Iranian Atomic Energy, Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani.

"The installation of a new generation of these devices began last month on the site that bears the name of martyr Ahmadi Roshan," said Abassi-Davani the agency ISNA, without quoting the model and features centrifuges.

A delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) arrived in Tehran on Wednesday morning to take part in a new round of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program. The last meeting between representatives of the IAEA and Iran took place on January 17 in Tehran without providing answers to outstanding questions.

The media have announced in late January that Iran had notified the IAEA of its intention to increase the number of centrifuges at its uranium enrichment plant at Natanz. This site is regularly visited by inspectors from the Agency within the framework of a bilateral agreement between Iran and the IAEA.
