Czech CASA C-295M with two crews from 24th Air Transportation Base
at Prague-Kbely participated in the European Air Transport Training 2012
held in Spanish Zaragoza on 4th to 15th June 2012.
A two-week event was focused on a comprehensive advanced training of allied air transportation personnel with crews from Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and the Czech Republic.
The overall goal of the training was to increase interoperability in performing transportation tasks by unifying basic procedures from landing, loading, boarding to airdrops of paratroopers and materiel.
“EATT 2012 was the initial event based on the need of a coordination training of transport aircraft laying emphasis on unifying combat flight procedures and generally used planning processes. Participation of transport aviation at the similar exercises should be, for sure, repeated,“ Lieutenant Colonel Milan Laniak, commander of the flight squadron of the 24th Air Transportation Base at Prague-Kbely, says.
