China’s first female astronaut Liu Yang and her two colleagues have safely returned to Earth after fulfilling the country’s first manned space docking, Xinhua reported.
The Shenzhou-9 spacecraft’s return capsule touched down in Inner Mongolia, northern China, as planned.
Doctors said Liu and the two other astronauts, namely Shenzhou-9 crew commander Jing Haipeng and Liu Wang, felt well. They will be brought to Beijing by plane after a medical examination.
