“Pepsi Logo on The Moon”, A Big Rumor in Iran

A few days ago a big rumor hit the headlines in Iran and many people believed it. Base on that joke, Pepsi would show its official logo on the moon using powerful lasers. However neither the Pepsi company nor its subsidiaries in Iran confirmed or rejected these reports.
Local newspapers and websites published the same story in the recent days. Some Iranian users debated over the possibility of this job in social network sites like Facebook and Twitter. According to the news reports published in many websites Pepsi would radiate its logo on the moon and it could be seen in the Middle Eastern countries including Iran.
“I have to confess that Im not affiliated with the recent rumors about the Pepsi logo on the moon. But I must say it was only a joke. Just stay at your homes and be cool about that.” Farvartish Rezvaniyeh, famous Iranian journalist, announced in his Facebook account. Until now the main source of this rumor has not yet detected.
However some marketing theorists in Iran encouraged Pepsi over its creativity for showing its logo on the moon.
