India tests ballistic missile naval

The Indian Army Friday successfully tested a ballistic missile Dhanush shipyard capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, reports news agency IANS.

The missile was fired from a ship in the Bay of Bengal off Orissa (east).

In a firing range of up to 350 km, the missile Dhanush is the maritime equivalent of Prithvi-II is capable of carrying a load of 500 kg, including a nuclear warhead.


October 4, India has successfully test fired a ballistic missile Prithvi-II.
