Afghanistan: suicide car bomb against a NATO base

A suicide bomber in a car bomb attack Wednesday morning a military base joint NATO and Afghan army of Paktia province (eastern Afghanistan) which, according to preliminary data, sixty victims , reported local media.

The press service of the NATO International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan confirmed the attack, saying there were no U.S. military among the wounded.

The head of the district administration, Agha Gul Ahmadzai, has, for its part, reported eight civilian casualties.


The news agency said that Pejvak the explosion was so powerful that people believed that it was an earthquake.
