The talks held in London on Wednesday by Russian and British Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs in the Strategic Dialogue have been successful, said the head of Russian diplomacy Sergei Lavrov after the meeting.
"We had a frank and constructive discussion. We discussed sensitive issues such as human rights or the extradition of Russian nationals wanted by some Russian justice who found asylum in Britain," said Lavrov told reporters.
This is the first meeting of the Strategic Dialogue Russian-British held as a meeting of foreign ministers and defense of both countries (formula "2 +2").
