China will strengthen education in national defense with an emphasis on the protection of maritime rights, said Monday the Education Bureau of National Defence.
Rights protection and maritime interests and national security will be put forward in the education of defense in 2013, we learned of a circular issued by the office.
The defense education will be included in the curriculum in primary and secondary schools across the country to make knowledge more universal defense, says the circular.
