Russia: the end of the last test model Kalashnikov

The Russian Central Institute for Precision Mechanics "of Klimovsk (Moscow region) has completed testing of the new Kalashnikov assault rifle AK-12, announced Friday the press service of the company.

"Preliminary testing of the AK-12 are completed, we set all combat characteristics and techniques of the new gun," said the spokesman.

The Kalashnikov assault rifle AK-12 is designed by the Izhmash factory in Izhevsk (Udmurtia Russian republic). This rifle fifth generation has three shooting modes - piecemeal, and automatic burst of three. It is equipped with Picatinny rails for installing additional equipment. It is a basic modular weapon used for the creation of a twenty gauge versions 5.45 to 7.62 x39 mm x51 mm, according to the official website of Izhmash.


The AK-12 is for export, but this gun complies with the Russian Ministry of Defence and the plant is ready to deliver the Russian army in case of need.
