Vietnam-Ukraine meeting between the Ministers of Defence

The Defence Minister Phung Quang Thanh in Hanoi Thursday had a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmitry Salamatin Albertovich in friendship visit to Vietnam.

This meeting addressed several points on the situation in the world and the two countries, as well as the results of the cooperation between the two defense ministries in recent times, before setting directions for the latter.

Phung Quang Thanh said that the visit of Minister of Ukraine opened a new phase of development of bilateral relations in defense.

Minister Dmitry Salamatin Albertovich proposed that the two countries enhance their exchanges and define specific guidelines to bear in the defense relationship to a new height and make them more efficient.

The two ministers agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two armies favoring the sharing of experiences, visits of delegations of all levels and collaboration in training. - AVI
