Implant Sciences Corporation, a high technology supplier of systems and
sensors for homeland security and defense markets, today announced that
it has sold 25 Quantum Sniffer QS-H150 handheld explosives trace
detectors for use in critical infrastructure protection in Africa. The
QS-H150s will primarily be deployed to protect government buildings from
terrorist threats. The Company's Quantum Sniffers are increasingly
being used in Africa and have been proven to perform well in a wide
range of temperatures and environments from humid jungles to dry, sand
swept deserts.
