Jakarta
(ANTARA News) - The Government of Indonesia and Australia will discuss
the finalization of grant of five C-130 Hercules aircraft from
Australia, including government fees that must be related to the
process.
President
Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said the final debate on the grant of the
aircraft will be one of the agenda visit the President to Darwin 2-4
July 2012 date.
"This
afternoon there are activities of RI meeting with Defense Minister
Defense Minister of Australia. Plan has five C-130 from Australia to
grant format with no fees taken out of Indonesia," the president said
while giving evidence of the press in Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma Air
Base in Jakarta on Monday .
According
to the Head of State, Indonesia requires the transport aircraft after
the accident because the Fokker-owned TNI AU few weeks ago, a plane
owned by TNI AU can not be operated until the research is completed.
He
explained also that although the CN 295 aircraft Fokker 27's successor
TNI AU is completed and has a capacity greater but TNI AU will keep
coming back to expand the fleet of C-130 was owned by a number of
updates.
