The BrahMos missile for the Indian Air Force in 2014

The supersonic missile BrahMos Russian-Indian equip the Indian Air Force in 2014, declared June 27 the CEO of the joint venture BrahMos, Shivatanu Pillai.

According to the official, is expected to provide more than 40 hunters this missile.

"The work we must do this for several steps. One step is to modify the platform, while another aims to connect the electronics of the missile from the aircraft, "said the CEO of India.

The supersonic cruise missile BrahMos, which is named after the Brahmaputra rivers of India and Russian Moskva, is capable of carrying a load of 200 to 300 kg a distance of 290 km. Earth and its versions are already installed onboard the Army and Indian Navy.
