Russia must determine external threats (Rogozin)

Russia must determine the external threats to its security forces to develop more appropriate, said Wednesday in Moscow Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.

"We need to identify threats on our strategic destinations, clearly define who our enemy is and what are its capabilities, to form a combination of military and military-technical means of preventing these threats from materializing," said M . Rogozin during a military-industrial conference held in Moscow.

According to him, it is necessary to model situations typical of the use of armed force as a function of the overall assessment of what will be the future military conflicts.

M.Rogozine emphasized that thorough and comprehensive analysis of such situations would lay the groundwork for new means and methods of warfare.
