The fighter FELIN

The weapons system FELIN (infantryman integrated equipment and links) improves equipment of the dismounted soldier.
Objective: make soldiers more effective and less vulnerable.
Developments have brought about five core capabilities: weapons, protection, communication, autonomy and mobility.
In particular: the remote firing system of the FAMAS allows the fighter to detect and target an enemy safely. The weapon is also a man-machine interface, which allows the soldier to control the rest of his equipment FELIN functions.
Side communication means also, there is change: the individual makes a communication headset radio link by ostéophonie (transmission of sound by vibration of the skull), which allows soldiers to communicate in a very discreet.
