Azerbaijan denies rumors about Iran’s submarines in Caspian Sea

The information about Iran's using submarines in the Caspian Sea, disseminated by Iran's media, is wrong, head of the Azerbaijani State Maritime Administration Gudrat Gurbanov told media on Thursday.
"No country's submarines can be in the waters of the Caspian Sea," he said.
Gurbanov called these publications as "nonsense".
It should be stressed that according to Iran's media, which has three large submarines, Iran is trying to use light submarines in the Caspian Sea. Admiral Abbas Zamini said that Iran's naval forces have achieved great success in the design, construction and repair of its submarines.
